Publishing Catalogue 2018
Presenting the publishers and booksellers catalogue prepared by Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association in frames of the publishing program of the project Georgia – Guest of Honour at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2018. In relation with the special significance of this year’s book fair, concept of the catalogue was created in an original and distinctive manner.
We dedicated one page to each organization participating in Frankfurter Buchmesse 2018. Each page shows short information about the publisher or a bookseller and speeches of the representative of the company and one of their authors. Therefore, based on narration of leaders of Georgian publishing houses and their authors, we created an interesting historical retrospect of the years of cooperation of Georgian publishers and authors.
In order to better present publishing sector, Georgian Publishers and Booksellers catalogue also include letters from Georgian or international industry professionals.
Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association wants to express gratitude towards the publishers, authors or other publishing professionals who contributed in preparation of publishers’ catalogue for Frankfurter Buchmesse 2018.
The catalogue was published with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and Georgian National Book Center
